The dragon sits by the side of the road, watching those who pass. Beware lest he devour you. We go to the Father of Souls, but it is necessary to pass by the dragon. -- St. Cyril of Jerusalem

I know

Okayokay. I know I have been a pathetic blogger lately. Forgive me. You have to, you know. Jesus says so. And, to add some insult to injury...or to whet your appetite a bit, I am entering a very short blog you might all find amusing.

In the last couple of weeks, I have made the following brilliant statements:

At a BBQ on Easter I said: Come on! Let's eat ourselves.

I assured a travel agent that I gave birth in 1979 (impressive since I am male and was less than a year old at the time).

And, after unwittingly provoking the wrath of one of my gypsy neighbors, and meaning to say "I made a mistake," I said, "I was joking."

Finally, a little interesting tidbit: the word "pui" can mean chicken, puppies, or (you) put.
